For the Jos Tennis Championship, I designed a series of social media graphics and promotional materials that carried the tournament from the first announcement to the final match. The challenge wasn't just creating individual designs, but building a consistent visual system that could adapt to schedules, player lineups, match highlights, sponsors and promotional content while still feeling exciting every time. By keeping the typography, colours and layouts cohesive throughout, the tournament developed a recognisable identity that audiences could instantly connect with across every touchpoint.
Scope of Work

The Story
Sports content moves fast, but it still needs personality.
For the Jos Tennis Championship, the goal wasn't just to announce fixtures or post scores. I wanted every graphic to feel like part of the excitement of the tournament. Whether someone was seeing a match schedule, a player lineup or the final playoff announcement, it all needed to feel connected.
I built a system that was bold enough to grab attention while staying consistent from the first post to the last. That way, every design felt familiar, even when the content changed.

Creative Process
I started by defining a visual system before designing individual posts. Once the typography, colour palette and layout structure were in place, every new design became an extension of the same identity rather than starting from scratch.
I used strong type, limited colours and consistent spacing to make the information easy to scan while still giving every post enough energy to stand on its own.
The result was a campaign that stayed visually cohesive across multiple match days, announcements and promotional materials.

What I enjoyed most
One of my favourite parts of this project was experimenting with Generative AI as part of my creative process. I used it to quickly explore moodboards and visual directions before translating those ideas into a complete design system. It wasn't about letting AI design for me. It became a creative partner that helped me explore possibilities faster, while I made the decisions on layout, typography, colour, hierarchy and overall brand consistency. I really enjoyed taking an initial concept and turning it into something that felt polished, intentional and uniquely my own.

Final Reflection
This project reminded me that good design isn't about where an idea starts, but where you're able to take it. Whether inspiration comes from a sketch, a conversation or an AI-generated moodboard, what matters is the creative judgment behind every decision. Learning how to combine emerging tools with thoughtful design helped me work more efficiently without losing the human creativity that gives a brand its personality. That's a process I genuinely enjoy, and one I'll continue to build on as technology evolves.
